you 'talked' to your enemy?:... I have no enemies that I know of.
you actually thought you were right, but weren't? and why?:Why do I forget the times I'm wrong?

you whatched T.V.?:Last night I watched some.
you went on AIM?:Years ago. It never stuck.
you went on MSN?:Right now I'm on it
you asked advice from someone? and who?:Perhaps some days ago, I may have asked Eze for advice, that's part of our nomral, daily chitter-chatter.

you've seriously asked yourself about your life?:All the time! My life and my self are in constant revision (that's how I keep my goals and emotions in check).
you killed something? weither it be bug or pet..?:Consciously? Two days ago I killed two baby centipedes (I think that's what they were).

I've Seen it All

I've Seen It All

I've seen it all
I have seen the trees
I have seen the willow leaves
Dancing in the breeze

I've seen a man killed
By his best friend,
And lives that were over
Before they were spent.

I've seen what I was
And I know what I'll be
I've seen it all
There is no more to see

You haven't seen elephants
Kings or Peru

I'm happy to say
I had better to do

What about China?
Have you seen the Great Wall?

All walls are great
If the roof doesn't fall
And the man you will marry
The home you will share

To be honest
I really don't care

You've never been
To Niagara Falls

I have seen water
It's water, that's all

The Eiffel Tower
The Empire State

My pulse was as high
On my very first date

And your grandson's hand
As he plays with your hair

To be honest
I really don't care

I've seen it all
I've seen the dark
I've seen the brightness
In one little spark
I've seen what I chose
And I've seen what I need
And that is enough
To want more would be greed
I've seen what I was
And I know what I'll be
I've seen it all
There is no more to see

You've seen it all
And all you have seen
You can always review on
Your own little screen
The light and the dark
The big and the small
Just keep in mind
You need no more at all

You've seen what you were
And know what you'll be
You've seen it all
There is no more to see

El Marques ...

marquis
You are the Marquis Da Sade. Even stripped of
exaggerations, Your real life was as dramatic
and as tragic as a cautionary tale. Born to an
ancient and noble house, you were married
(against your wishes) to a middle-class heiress
for money, caused scandals with prostitutes and
with your sister-in-law, thus enraging your
mother-in-law, who had you imprisoned under a
lettre de cachet for 14 years until the
Revolution freed you. Amphibian, protean,
charming, you became a Revolutionary,
miraculously escaping the guillotine during the
Terror, only to be arrested later for
publishing your erotic novels. You spent your
final 12 years in the insane asylum at
Charenton, where you caused another scandal by
directing plays using inmates and professional
actors. You died there in 1814, virtually in
the arms of your teenage mistress.
You are a revolutionary deviant. I applaud you.

Renewable List

Okay, so I was thinking back to when I used to have all things I had stored, accumulated and cherished throughout my 25 years of age (up until two years ago, when my house burned down)... more precisely, thinking about the music I used to have. I think I got to own a small CD collection very particular to my own taste, from which I was able to recover only a fraction. Some things I had, no one else I know has... I am still tying to remember, and keep in mind for the next time I log into Limewire. I have this knack of forgetting everything I had made mental note to download whenever I log onto a place I can download it from. Or a place I can buy it from (it is funny, but it's the same with things I wanna buy: I fall in love with an item and want it desperately, until I get the money to buy it, then I forget about it. That's why in the rare occasion that I fall in love with an item, I try to buy it as far as my budget permits)...

So, I have in mind to start making a list here of the albums I'm still missing as they come into my mind...

1) Turmalina, Natalia Oreiro
2) The Kama Sutra Soundtrack
3) The Prince of Egypt Soundtrack

(... to be continued)

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are optimistic and happy.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is open. Both of you can talk about everything... no secrets.

Your risk of cheating is 100%. You are not suited for a monogamous relationship.

In this moment, you think of love as something you don't need. You just feel like flirting around and playing right now.

Everything cool, but for the last line ... dammit, and I wanted to keep it a secret so much! .....

Found in Blinky's blog:

You scored as Postmodernist. Postmodernism is the belief in complete
open interpretation. You see the universe as a collection of information with
varying ways of putting it together. There is no absolute truth for you; even
the most hardened facts are open to interpretation. Meaning relies on
context and even the language you use to describe things should be subject
to analysis.

RE-ceta

Spirited Away

Last night I had the honor of watching

under the influence...

I have to say: this movie is made of the stuff of nightmares, and also of tufts and fragments of the subconscious, the erratic, the illogical. The first strong reaction from me was fear. There's a scene (like 15 minutes into the movie, perhaps), immediately after the sun sets, in which Chihiro (the main character) goes back to her parents. They had been eating food off tables they found in an "abandoned theme park" (not so abandoned, really), mainly ignoring their daughter. When Chihiro goes back to them, they've been turned into pigs (and disgusting, big pigs, eating uncontrollably). The scariest part (to me) is that, regardless of their form change, they keep munching away, working their way up to the countertop... then one of the attendants behind the counter, upon seeing the pigs, start swatting away at them, swatting hard... the father falls back on the floor... the scene denotes such willing debasement (sprouting from the parent's greed and gluttony), and the fact that their daughter has to watch ... that is the stuff from nightmares. What comes afterwards, at least the whole "turning invisible" deal, reminded me a bit of a bad drug trip. But I totally understood and empathized with Chihiro when she crouched at the edge of the dock and started repeating to herself "This is only a dream." I felt like doing the same.

Watching movies under the influence is sometimes a bit more vivid, you immerse yourself in them, the emotions are way more real. Tunnel vision becomes the way to watch that TV screen. I'm not sorry I did it. For all the scare I got in the first 25 minutes, the rest of the movie just took me to places slightly familiar, and I could see evident parallelisms between Spirited Away and Alice in Wonderland. Both worlds defy all logic, reason and social parameters. Both worlds encompass the myths and stories which my cradle was woven with. Be it American or Japanese culture, you recognize a dream, the bat of an eyelid, the world that spreads underneath ... in whatever language you wish. Dreams always speak loud and clear.

Life Out of Balance, Love for the Environment and a Small Cheat

Movies I saw this weekend:

Star Wars: Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith
I caught the critics' screening on Saturday morning. Since I am not a good movie critic, I only have two things to say:

1) The movie is FUCKING A+! (Unlike Episodes 1 and 2)
2) **SPOILER** Anakin turns into Darth Vader (oh nooooo ... right) ...

Baraka
A no-dialogue documentary (it's all images and music) on the relationship between humans and the environment. Really well made, I liked it a lot. Which leads me to the other one (same concept, even better made):

Koyaanisqatsi: Life Out of Balance
This is more or less what Baraka was aiming at, but I would say it's better expressed. Makes you wanna turn aboriginal and go live in a jungle. We are harming the environment with everything we do, in every which way possible.

Thanks to Netflix for that! ^_^
