My Birthday :-)

First, I want to thank each and every one who attended my birthday party, and those who didn't but would have liked to, or meant to. I had a great time, surprisingly good, and at some point, in spite of what I would have expected, the different people from different aspects in my life meshed together oh so well.

Thanx to Eze for coordinating this, and thanx to my mom and to my sister, Chichi. They all worked to make this birthday one of the best yet. :-D

Now, since this is the kooky blog by me (as opposed to the more personal one), now this is what I got (^_^ weeee!):

A Samsung DVD player (woot! at last my OWN dvd player, if only de AUX panel on my TV set would work... but no worries, mom is willing to exchange her TV set for mine).

(started watching it, weirdly compelling, this take on Jesus Christ's story is in context pretty much by the book, but the outlook and the way they filmed it is not only humorous at times, but overall a crack trip! plus, watching Victor Garber play Jesus - after watching him play Jack Bristow in ALIAS - is totally mindboggling)

My sis also gave me two bumper stickers (Gawd bless Betty Paige) and a humongous [Betty Paige] sticker (still dunno where to stick).

a pair of wonderfully delightful barrettes (little Lenore-like skulls with bows stuck to their heads, will take pic and post later, ok?) and little apple earrings (to match my gift to myself, heh heh!)

(leafed through it a bit, wonderful photography, at times mesmerizing, at times inspiring, overall incredibly colorful book on interior design and architecture details... have to see it more detainedly... Thanx, Fonz! :-D)

Powerbook G4, 12 inches ... and me so fucking happy to have it I'm even overlooking the price ... for now.
